Why is Miley Cyrus Maxim’s Hottest Woman of 2013?

Who actually thinks Miley Cyrus is worthy to top Maxim’s Hot 100 list? Of course she is good looking, but the market is full of dozens/hundreds of better looking celebrities. As stated from Cyrus: “It feels amazing to be No. 1, especially because it was voted on by the fans. I have the best fans in the world!” Was this actually voted on by fans or does Maxim have the final say? I guess controversy sells. FHM picks Mila Kunis as their Sexiest Woman for 2013 (a perfectly reasonable choice by most standards), and the public yawns. Maxim picks Miley Cyrus to top their Hot 100, and it gets everyone talking. Attention is what matters in today’s world, and Maxim’s choice is arguably “smarter” than FHM’s in terms of getting our attention for the advertisers in their magazines. Is Maxim playing a joke? Nope, they’re cashing in. Even the fake girlfriend of Manti Te’o appeared, sort of, at No. 69 on Maxim’s annual “Hot 100 List.” The industry still wants Miley to be the new Britney Spears, and they didn’t realize yet, that it’s not going to happen. I don’t think I can find a single person that agrees with this choice.

RIP Chris Kelly – Kriss Kross

We all loved “Mac Daddy” Kelly and Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith back in the 90s when they brought us the single, Jump. Actually, it’s still good, I get pretty pumped up every time it rotates through my music shuffle. Unfortunatly, Chris Kelly won’t be krossing or jumping around anymore. I never understood wearing the pants backwards, I guess they were trying to start a new trend.

Chris Kelly, half of the 1990s kid rap duo Kris Kross — who made one of the decade’s most memorable songs with the frenetic “Jump” — died at an Atlanta hospital on Wednesday of an apparent drug overdose at his home, authorities said. He was 34.

Have you seen the DirecTV Genie commercial, you know, the disturbing one where the dentist sneezes into the patients mouth? Ya that one, well who is the chick that is the so called “Channel Genie”? Congratulations DirecTV, in the same commercial you managed to gross us out with the dentist scene, yet also brought an unbelievably hot girl into our lives all in 30 seconds. I think I’ll stick with cable for now,but in the meantime who is this genie model?

A native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Hannah was born on May 5, 1990, and is a fashion model having worked with Victoria’s Secret, Blush Lingerie, Ralph Lauren (promoting the fragrance Ralph Rocks) and others. In terms of her love life, in 2012, Hannah was reportedly dating New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. Her gallery below is very promising.

NSD Approved: Michelle Keegan

Who doesn’t love gorgeous British actresses that are famous for pretty much nothing but have made headlines because they are HOT? Every year we have sleeper picks in fantasy football, well here is our NSD Approved sleeper pick. We don’t know a whole lot about Michelle Keegan, but we do know she hinted at posting a topless photo on Twitter. That is cool in our books. There was a scandal earlier in the month of a topless photo of her being spread around on her Instagram account but it turned out to be a fake. However the photo was from one of her hot friends, Hayley Moynihan. We’ll have to feature Haley in a future NSD post. Scroll down to see more Michelle Keegan pics.

Farrah Abraham, Hot or Not?

Farrah Abraham, casted on MTV’s reality TV show Teen Mom in 2009, has been making a comeback in this week’s media. While Farrah has a great selection of half naked photos, and she looks good in a handful of them, is she really that hot? Well, at NSD we think she has a great body after having a kid, but unfortunately she doesn’t make it into the NSD Approved class. Not sure if all of that facial plastic surgery did her much good. We will award her with MILF of the month though.

More recently, details have leaked that Farrah has a sex tape being passed around. Maybe she thought if she makes a sex tape it would help her move up in celebrity status? I’m not complaining. However, TMZ broke the story … The sex tape was staged and was just recently filmed with porn star James Deen. Deen claims the Farrah Abraham sex tape is real — and he’s the guy featured in the video. Deen blew the lid off Farrah’s sex tape plot yesterday … telling us he was approached by a porn company to stage the sex tape over the weekend … and that Farrah was behind the whole thing.

Hump Day Weekly Update

What is going on this week? March has passed and Miami Ultra Music Festival is over. That doesn’t mean that we can’t keep UMF going on our headphones. Check out all the sets from Miami, some great listening material here. Also, yesterday Alesso posted his new song called “If I lose myself” featuing OneRepublic. Alesso never disappoints. For anyone in the DC area, he is performing at Echo Stage on April 19th, tickets are selling at only $30. Lalapalooza tickets recently went on sale but apparently they are already sold out.

On Sunday, everyone was devastated when they saw Kevin Ware break his leg against duke in the Elite 8 game. This guy is tough because he is motivated to overcome the injury and is already on his feet after surgery. Also, Mark Cuban suggested drafting Brittney Griner, former Baylor Star, to play for the Mavericks. She tweeted back that she is ready for tryouts. This would be interesting; however if Griner does try out for the NBA, she wouldn’t be the first female to do so. Ann Meyers was the first female to sign a free-agent contract with an NBA team when she signed with the Indiana Pacers in 1979, though she did not make the team and was released.

Lost of April fools jokes going around this week from a Google Maps Treasure Mode gimmick to Twitter charging to use vowels. Apparently Lindsay Lohan also played a little joke announcing on twitter she was pregnant. It was confirmed false but she did manage to leak some side boom content.

Did You See The New Ferrari?

In case you missed it last week, Ferrari introduced its new flagship supercar, the LaFerrari, Italian for “TheFerrari.” Code named the F150, the car that replaces the Enzo at the top of the Ferrari hierarchy made its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, easily stealing the limelight from all other debuts. Although the name is kind of lame, its looks make up for it. The new model is simply stunning. Check it out the gallery below…

Warning: the video posted below will give you sweaty palms and drive you insane while anxiety overcomes you. That’s how I felt while watching it. This is a video of a bunch of Russians who clearly aren’t afraid to die and are possibly on some type of drugs that make doing dumb shit on top of a tower fun. I am willing to bet these guys aren’t around anymore to talk about these types of stunts because they seem to have a death wish. Miami Heat Harlem Shake

The reigning champions show off some of their dance moves as the team went from stretching to making a Harlem Shake video. If it wasn’t impressive enough going 12-1 in February, they have succeeded in presenting this hilarious video. Can you imagine someone prompting Kobe Bryant to make a video like this with his team- that would be an interesting conversation. Kobe can’t even make small talk with any of his teammates, unless it’s with one of their wives. This just goes to show the Heat have way more chemistry than any other team in the NBA.
